The contour of your pillows, the firmness of your mattress, and the feel of your bedding are all things you take great care in selecting to create a good night’s sleep. But the color of your bedroom can also play a role.
“Bedrooms are the most deeply personal of spaces in any home—this is the room where we switch off from the day-to-day and noise of life in general. Obviously, your mattress will be the greatest enabler of a good night's sleep, but color can really help too,” says Patrick O’Donnell, global brand ambassador for Farrow & Ball. “This doesn’t mean bland colors, but ideally nothing too energizing either so we want to avoid colors that are too vivid or bright.”
